Legend: There was a legend among the people that the “spirit of Agatai has moved into Isatai. At night when he sleeps, he comes to him in the form of a dragon, wrapping around his waist, or comes in the form of a black camel and sleeps near him”. In his song, Agatai batyr once said: “In my family someone will soon be born, his flame will reach the heavens and he will go out. His spirit will be stronger than mine, but his life is shorter”. This fate the people attributed to Isatai. And so it happened this way.
One of the stories about Isatai tells the following. Around 1814-1815 Bokei went to Astrakhan to get his son Zhangir into school. On the way, he stops by Isatai’s aul and said to him, “This son will be khan after me”. To which, Isatai replied, “When Zhangir becomes khan, there will be a hard life in the country”. Then Bokei Khan asked him why he thought so, and Isatai replied, “Your son has blood on the front and dust on the back”. This prediction of Isatai was correct.
