Historical information: the Aydarlyash section began to be studied in the 1950s. In 1991, for the 150th anniversary of the Permian system, scientists carried out studies of all geological sections related to this period. In 1996, at the International Geological Congress in China, the Aydarlyash section was entered into the international register of geological monuments, as it preserved traces of the Carbon and Perm systems that existed 10 million years ago. On March 31, 1997, a letter was sent to the Minister of Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan S. Shkolnik on behalf of the Russian professor V. Davydov. In the letter, the scientist recommended creating a national park or a nature reserve with the status of state protection on Aydarlyash, especially noting the painstaking work carried out in Akhmetshina Limuza Zagitovna, which revealed the significance of the section.
