Description of monument: Bust of A. Baitursynov is located outdoor of school named by A. Baitursynov. Monument’s pedestal is made of concrete and it was covered with granite slabs. The length and width of pedestal is 1,3 m., height is 2,6 m.. The bust was made of plastic glass. Total height of the monument is 3,5 m. There is an inscription «Ахмет Байтұрсынов 05.09.1872 – 08.10.1937 1891-1895 жылдары мұғалімдер даярлайтын мектепті аяқтағаннан кейін, Ахмет Байтұрсынов Ақтөбе уезі, Батпақты болысында (қазіргі Ақтөбе облысы Алға ауданы, Самбай ауылы) бала оқытқан» on the black granite plate installed on the pedestal.
Maker of the monument is Yerlan Pirimzhanov.
Historical note: Akhmet Baitursynov was born in September 5, 1872, in Sartubek village, Tosyn volost, Torgai uyezd, Kustanai area, into a rich family. In 1886 he entered Torgai two grade Russian-Kazakh specialized school and he graduated from it in 1891. That same year he entered Orenburg school for teachers, and 1895 he was awarded the title «a teacher of primary specialized school» by decision of teachers council of Central State Museum. In 1896 – 1901 years he worked as a teacher in aul, volost school, two-grade specialized school in Aktobe, Kustanai, Karkarali areas. In 1912 he modified Kazakh alphabet and domesticated it. Visiting in Ufa he published «Казақ» newspaper upon an initiative of the educated Kazakh youth using movey took up from people.
