The name given to Bylshik bi at birth is Kutayak. Bylshikbi was a man who perfectly knew the traditions of the Great Steppe rule more widely than the Kazakhs. Traditional fairs and large gatherings did not take place without Bylshikabi. Bylshik bi was born in 1859 in the village of Aksuat, now the Karabutak region. Grandfather Abdibay was a rich man. His father, Seit, was friendly and on good terms with Batyr Eset (Kotibaruly). In 1886 the Governor-General of Orenburg Lev Baluzek said about the 28-year-old Bilshykabi: “a famous folk sage”.
When Bylshik was seven years old, Eset batyr came to visit Seyit’s house. While preparations were in full swing for meeting the guest, wolves attacked the cattle and all the adults went to fight the wolf. According to the custom of hospitality, Seit and Eset continued to communicate. Bylshyk with the words: “Where are you?” he caught Eset’s henchman who was running with everyone, and the assistant replied: “So the wolf attacked the sheep, right?” he was stopped, and moreover made a remark to Eset: “Instead of taking with you a faithful comrade in a practical way and a faithful companion in difficult times, you took with you a protector of cattle.” This was the first manifestation of Bylshyk’s wisdom and oratory.
Bylshik Seyytuly is a famous bi, orator, saint, noble person. He is one of the fairest biys, who administered a righteous judgment and was respected by the people when deciding the five most controversial issues: land, widowhood, payment for damage, livestock and honor. A man who was considered the defender of the people, helped the defenseless, adhered to justice and sanity, was arrested in 1928. He died in 1933 in Aktobe prison. This is a person who will remain in the memory of the Kazakh people as an example of philanthropy, prudence and benevolence. There is evidence that people in uniform did not succeed in arresting and taking Bylshik biy away on the first attempt. The inhabitants of the aul did not allow this.
