Historical background: Shyganak Bersiev was born in 1881 in the village of Ashyuil, Uil region of Aktobe oblast. He was a famous farmer, the famous «grandfather of white millet», who became a world record holder in millet cultivation.
The monument was installed in 2006 on the Eve of the 125th anniversary of Shyganak’s birth.
Description of monument: The monument-bust of Sh. Bersiev is cast in bronze (height – 1.0 m), the pedestal is 2.2 meters high, the length – 60 cm, and width – 64 cm. The pedestal is lined with red granite.
