Historical information: Nurpeis Baiganin was born on June 20, 1860 in Baiganin district and died on April 9, 1945. Popular poet and zhyrau (singer), honored art worker of Kazakhstan.

Nurpeis akyn performed in the most crowded places, especially at Temir, Uil, Irgiz and Uralsk fairs, sang poems “Koblandy batyr”, “Alpamys batyr”, “Er Targyn”, “Kyz Zhibek”, “Aiman – Sholpan” and others. The poet knew by heart 40-50 poems.

Description of monument: The sculpture consists of upper and lower pedestals. Its total height is 3.60 meters. The foundation is made of cement block, with the size of 12.2 x 6 m, the pedestal is made of light gray marble. The size of the lower base is 4.6 x 6.1 m, and the upper base is 1.36 x 2.5 x 2.9 m. The sculpture is made of cement asbestos, covered with copper on the outside. The height is 2.3 m. The front side of the sculpture faces northeast.
