Oysylkar necropolis

Location: Khromtau district, 35 km. south-southeast of Khromtau.

Description: The largest memorial and cult complex in the Khromtau district of the Aktobe region is the Oysylkar necropolis. The eponym of the cemetery is considered to be Saint Oysylkar – the patron saint of camels and camel breeding. This complex is an ancient cemetery of the XVIII – early XX centuries. With an area of ​​100×170 m, stretching along the east-west line and consisting of about 150 traditional grave structures.
