Historical data: According to historical data, about 3 million people (42% of the total population) died in Kazakhstan from hunger and disease in 1932-1933. For these reasons, more than 600 thousand Kazakh citizens were forced to leave their native land and go abroad. In 1937-1938, the Stalinist repressions, together with the famine that destroyed almost half of the people, was also a heavy blow for the Kazakhs. During these years, about 100 thousand people were innocently convicted in Kazakhstan, of which 25 thousand were shot. The innocent victims and victims of this regime were the educated intelligentsia of our people. Only from Aktobe 7 thousand people were shot, and 1800 people were sentenced to death.
