Description of monument: Monument was made in form of the yurta from black granite stone. There is a five angled star 1949 – 1991 from the right part of the monument, there is an inscription: «СЕМЕЙ ЯДРОЛЫҚ СЫНАҚ ПОЛИГОНЫНДА ЗАРДАП ШЕККЕН АҚТӨБЕЛІК АРДАГЕРЛЕРГЕ ҚҰРМЕТ ПЕН ТАҒЗЫМ» at the left part of the monument.

Total height of the monument including base is 3,87 meters, size of the base is 3,9 х 5,1, height is 0,30 meters. Size of the pedestal is 0,47 х 0,30 meters, height is 0,80 meters.

Historical note: Semipalatinsk is one of the most important strategic objects, test sites of SSSR. Atom bomb were tested within the territory of Kazakhstan during the SSSR period. 18 million ha of lan were allocated for establishing Semipalatinsk test site. Atomic bomb explosions had terrific power. About 500 thousand people living within area of radiative exposition in Semipalatinsk suffered from these tests. 11 thousand Aktobe residents had military service at the Semipalatinsk test site since 1949 to 1991. At present there are only 1800 citizens in the region.
