Monument to Zhalantos Batyr

Historical Background: Zhalantos Batyr Seitkululy, also known in historical sources as Zhalantos Bahadur, lived from 1576 to 1656. He was a Kazakh batyr, statesman and prominent military commander. He came from the Tortkara clan of the Alimuly tribal union and holds an important place in the history of the Kazakh people and Central Asia in the 17th century.
