Historical information: Asan was a humanist, enlightener, spiritual teacher, leader, who possessed oratory. Asan was called Skin because people from the Kozha clan who once came to the Kazakh land, spread Islam, built mosques, taught children. According to legend, Asan was an authoritative man, he spread Islam, he came from the Kozha clan. The people consider Asan Kozha a saint, so people come to his grave as a sign of respect, and spend the night there. His name became a motto, a spiritual support for the people.

Description and characteristics of the monument:one of the largest Kazakh necropolises of modern times, located on the left bank of the Emba River. The area of ​​the necropolis is small, it includes various grave structures (264 objects in total). Among them are the mausoleum of white stone, saganatams of cut stones, fences of stone and clay blocks, grave sandyktases, kulpytases, “koitases”. In many cases, kulpytas are combined with other types of monuments. A group of saganatams stands out, among which, according to the architectural and artistic solution, objects 13 and 164 stand out, which are monuments of the early XX century. with a complex composition and cult decor. Sandyktas is very interesting with its relic form, located in the western part of the necropolis. The overwhelming part of the monument is made up of kulpytases with koitases, including archaic and new forms,
